Health Canada – NAPRA discussions continue

CHFA has been advised by Health Canada that discussions continue internally and with the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) in an attempt to identify a solution to the issue of marketing natural health products (NHPs) that have yet to receive their full authorization.

Discussions continue at the senior levels of Health Canada, including involvement of the Minister, Leona Aglukkaq.

CHFA recognizes that this is a critical issue potentially affecting the entire industry and endeavours to share  new developments as soon as possible.

Even though conversations are taking place at the senior levels of government, it is a good idea to inform your Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) of the situation and view your concerns.
